Voiceless Directors jointly oversee the activities of the organisation. Drawn from a range of diverse backgrounds and experiences, Directors are united by their belief in animal protection and work collectively to guide the development of Voiceless.

Jeffrey Kamins

Rabbi Jeffrey Kamins OAM received his BA in English Literature from Stanford University in 1977 and his JD from Boalt Hall School of Law in 1982, briefly practicing law in Los Angeles before beginning rabbinic studies. He has served as Rabbi at Emanuel Synagogue since his ordination from HUC-JIR in 1989, serving as Senior Rabbi from 1999 through 2026, now as Emeritus Rabbi.

Rabbi Kamins works to make connections and build bridges in multi-faith and multi-ethnic realms. He has been an advocate for First Nations and refugee rights, social justice and inclusion, animal rights and environmental protection.
