Animals Australia were awarded a $3,500 grant to fund the re-publication and distribution of an animal law reference book. The 'Handbook of Australian Animal Cruelty Law' by Malcolm Caulfied, was first published in 2008, and provides a guide and critical commentary to Australian animal welfare law. This book is the first of its kind to draw together comparison and criticism to animal legislation, on both state and federal levels.  It will serve as a single source to be used by researchers, students, prosecutors, administrators, judicial officers and others interested in animal welfare law. To view a copy of the book, please click on the link or download icon below.
