This grant allowed Monash University to run a one-day Australian Animal Law Teaching Workshop in November 2015. The workshop aimed to equip legal academics to teach animal law at a university level, including seminar topics of ‘Factory farming of Animals: Welfare labelling’ and ‘Welfare Regulations and Violence in Animal Industries’.
