Philip Wollen OAM is a prominent animal welfare advocate and philanthropist. Formerly the Vice President of Citibank, Philip was profoundly affected by incidents of animal cruelty encountered on his travels overseas that he decided to become an activist for justice.

PHILIP WOLLEN OAM

Philip Wollen OAM is a prominent animal welfare advocate and philanthropist. Formerly the Vice President of Citibank, Philip was profoundly affected by incidents of animal cruelty encountered on his travels overseas that he decided to become an activist for justice.

Together with his wife Trix, Philip supports 500 humanitarian projects across a range of areas including children, the arts, the environment and animal protection.

He is an Honorary Fellow of the Oxford Centre of Animal Ethics UK and in 2005 he won the Australian of the Year (Victoria) award in recognition of his support of charitable causes, including his work for the animal protection movement.

Philip will present at Monash University in Melbourne on Monday 4 May.
